Diary: Chroma - User Testing

Description:

Diary: Chroma is an app that allows you to pick up and quickly save colors from a live camera screen. When you need to find the perfect color for a project or simply want to see what colors have caught your eye, you can open your diary and see all of your saved colors.

User Feedback:

Functionality:

  1. Add a pop up that says “double tap color to save” (hard for user to figure out how to save a color)

  2. Add an option for the user to name their color, or add a note about their color in the modal.

  3. Could there be new functionality that would be “My Palette” where you can pull from all of your saved colors and line them up next to each other to create a color palette?

  4. Change the color rectangle on color picker screen to be a circle when the color is double tapped.

Aesthetics:

  1. Fix aspect ratio in color picker screen, white top looks weird. Make entire screen the video with the picked color and RGB at the bottom over the top of video screen.

  2. Fix location of “Lizzy’s Color Diary”, and change text to be “Your Color Diary”. Why is it so low?

  3. Background of home screen should be more specific to the app. Maybe a color wheel? Or maybe a random color generated in the saved colors??
