Glassy Refraction

Glassy Refractions is a 3D environment built using geometry made in Vectorworks and assembled and made interactive in Unreal Engine. The imagery was inspired by Italian Surrealist painter, Giorgio de Chirico. For this project I wanted to probe our understanding of space by manipulating perspective -- at times it it hard to understand what is being refracted through a glass-like material and what is not. To further push this ideas, I included video footage from the recent Mars landing, which blends in with the ground color in the environment.
