Blob Garden: a Mobile, Modular Playground

Blob Garden is a mobile, modular playground that is designed for children to enjoy open ended and unstructured play. The playground is made up of a range of modular shapes that encourage creative expression. The entire playground fits inside of a truck and can be driven to a variety of geographical locations. Ideally Blob Garden would be owned by a city’s parks department.

The Playground Fits Inside of the Van:
Children push their favorite shapes out of the van frame and begin playing with them

sketch shapes
3d model shapes
make miniature with cardboard and send out by mail to be play tested
make miniatures out of cork
make full-size pieces out of cardboard
